For Heraklion, of course, there is the tour of Knossos, which is a must see for all lovers of antiquity. Southeast Crete includes some of the most magnificent scenery to be found on the island, especially worth noting is the beach of Vai. Santorini offers the outstanding choices of the day tour to the volcano and islets surrounding it; the magical sunset tour to Oia; the island tour encompassing the most scenic spots, both inland and at the coastal regions; and the winery tour is outstanding for lovers of fine wine. Day 1: Athens International Airport, Athens City Arrival at Athens airport.

Meet our representative and transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to begin your exploration of this incredible city. We suggest that you begin with a stroll through the streets of the Plaka area. Overnight Athens.

Day 2: Athens City, Heraklion (Prefecture)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure to Crete. Arrival at Crete and transfer to your Hotel. We suggest that you explore the Town of Heraklion (the fifth largest city in Greece). Overnight Crete.

Day 3 - 4: Heraklion (Prefecture)

Days at leisure. We suggest that you enjoy and tour the famous Palace of Knossos, and visit the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion. Explore the town, with its Venetian architecture, and its historic port with the landmark Venetian fortress, and visit many of the beautiful nearby beaches. There is ample time to make some side trips up into the mountains, across the plain of Messara, and on to the Palace of Phaestos (the second most important center of Minoan culture). 2 overnights Crete.

Day 5: Heraklion (Prefecture), Santorini (Island)

After breakfast, transfer to the port for your departure to Santorini. Arrival at Santorini and transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure to explore the main town of Fira and to walk along the rim of the caldera. Overnight Santorini.

Day 6: Santorini (Island)

Day at leisure. Enjoy a swim at the colorful beaches created by the eruption of the volcano during ancient times. Don't miss visiting the traditional village of Oia to enjoy the magnificent sunset, that has christened Santorini the most romantic island of the world. Or, spend your day taking our tour to the volcano and swim in the hot sulphur springs. Overnight Santorini.

Day 7: Santorini (Island), Athnes City

After breakfast, transfer to the (air)port for your departure to Athens. Arrival in Athens and transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure to do your last-minute shopping, or to visit some sights that you may have missed. This would be a perfect evening to take our tour "Athens by Night!" Day 8: Athens City, Athens International Airport
